Capital of the Italian Riviera is Sanremo, appreciated since the Nineteenth Century for its climate, and nowadays a famous end elegant tourist centre of international fame, renowned everywhere for its Casinò and the Festival of the Italian Song. Sport amateurs will get satisfaction with the 18 hole golf field, the horse-riding field, wing and target shooting, besides the tennis courts, the minigolf, the Olympic swimming pools, sailing clubs, diving centres, canoeing and windsurf facilities. An inevitable appointment for all bike amateurs is the traditional “Milano-Sanremo”, while motor fans cannot miss the Rally of San Remo. When approaching the sea one can discover the small sea village of Piazza Bresca and Porto Vecchio (the Old Port), once a refuge for sea-ships and today an undeniable reign of industrious fishing boats and elegant yachts, today joined by Portosole, a modern nautical complex with 890 perfectly equipped berths.
